Getting Started
Everything you need to set up and begin the course.
Requirements
- An AI assistant account (Claude Pro/Max, ChatGPT Plus/Teams, or Manus)
- The downloaded course folder
- A text editor for reviewing generated documents (optional but helpful)
Setup Steps
- Download the course folder -- You should have a folder called
ai-for-freelancerswith all the lesson files inside. - Open your AI tool -- Launch Claude, ChatGPT, or whichever AI assistant you prefer.
- Upload the course folder -- Drag the folder into your AI conversation, or upload the files as instructed by your tool.
- Start with Module 1, Lesson 1 -- Tell the AI: "Let's start the course. Begin with Module 1, Lesson 1."
Tips for Success
- Work through lessons in order. Each lesson builds on the previous one.
- Use your own freelance context. When a lesson asks for a client scenario, use a real one from your business if you can. The outputs will be more useful.
- Save what you create. Many lessons produce documents you can reuse -- proposals, templates, email drafts. Copy them out and keep them.
- Take your time. There's no timer. Spend extra time on lessons that matter most to your business.
Lesson Format
Each lesson includes:
- Context -- what the lesson covers and why it matters
- A realistic scenario -- a client email, RFP, contract, or brief to work with
- Guided AI interaction -- the AI walks you through the task step by step
- A finished deliverable -- something you can actually use in your freelance work
